26 iunie a fost proclamată Ziua Drapelului Național prin Legea nr. 96 din 20 mai 1998, marcând ziua de 26 (14) iunie 1848, când Guvernul revoluționar a decretat ca Tricolorul – roșu, galben și albastru – să reprezinte steagul național al tuturor românilor.
Cu prilejul Zilei Drapelului Naţional, Muzeul Județean de Istorie și Arheologie Prahova şi secţiile sale, organizează în perioada 24-26 iunie 2022 următoarele manifestări culturale dedicate acestui simbol suprem al unității și identității românești:
